On Thursday we just played at the "Vacation House" (as Elijah always called it, although a few times he got confused and called it the "Gas Station House"), and we took a lazy day. The boys played in a kiddy pool on the back patio most of the day. On Friday we went North to the Mountain Meadow Massacre site, but stopped at Baker's Reservoir on the way. So glad we did! The waterfall flowed over the road, making a fun little place to get our feet wet.
On the way back to the vacation house, we veered right at Veyo and went through Gunlock. The town and reservoir were unimpressive, but the State Park south of the reservoir was breathtaking! I want to go back and explore some more.
Lots more playing in the pool....
(oops... did we forget to wear our swimsuits?)
On Saturday Abram spent most of the day doing homework, so the boys and I went to the Tuacahn Saturday Market, and then played at a park. An awesome storm rolled in that afternoon and stayed the rest of the day. On Sunday, after church, we drove up Snow Canyon. What a gorgeous place! Another one I want to go back and explore.

And are these not the most irresistible big brown puppy eyes ever?!?
We came home on Monday, the 14th (got in quite late). We took some gorgeous scenic byways, and even found a couple more pretty towns: Wales and Fountain Green. We had such an unforgettable, fun trip.
And after all the riding in the car, they STILL love each other!!
